Taylor
Taylor Swift has become a uncommon pop sensation: A celebrity who has strayed from the world of country music to pop culture, turning into a pop icon that will endure forever, and sweeping over all of the world. Swift shed the country influences in the sense that they had been added as an extra layer of skin, revealing she was among the best singers/songwriters of her time. Swift could make the moment personal or harness the moment to benefit. The skills she displayed could be seen in her earliest tracks, notably the Neodue Tim McGraw. But on her second album Fearless that came out in 2008, she was able to discover who she is and find an audience that was large. The album was hugely successful and not just in the US and six of the singles were certified platinum in the wake of Top Ten hit songs Love Story and Belong with Me. But the album also enjoyed a great reception across all over the world. Swift took off to the peak of stardom after the release of Speak Now. Through her next three albums, Red (2012) 1989 (2004) and Reputation (2017) and Reputation, her popularity increased and she found herself in a world of pop music in which it became clear she was a part of. Although she slowed down her approach with 2020's stripped-down sister album folklore, and Evermore she remained atop the charts, a place she maintained with re-recordings of her earlier catalog, as well as Midnights which was her top-charting synthesizer 2022 set.
