Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe comes from a mixed-race family from South London in England. Both her parents have both been English. She was a student at The Brit School when she was 14. In London, she studied at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting degree was earned. While attending the school and performing in numerous stage productions, such as King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her career as an actor in the movie Storm Damage. Since then, she's been a guest star for Teachers, Doctors, Casualty as well as Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film appearance was in Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. After this success, Madekwe was cast as Elisha in the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and was featured on six of the episodes Trexx as well as Flipside. In 2008, the actress was offered Bambi who was the leading character on ITV2's drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was also a part of 2008's comedy How to Alienate and Lose Friends. She was also in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path, directed by David Watson.
Madekwe had her official US debut in the 2009 Drama series The Beautiful Life, which was only broadcast on The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge from February 2011. In May of 2013, it was revealed that Madekwe, who played a regular role in the past two seasons, had decided to quit the show with a guest appearance on the premiere episode of the new season. The actress played Tituba in the TV show Salem in 2014 until. Madekwe married her actor partner Iddo goldberg on June 2012. They've collaborated in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and also was a character on the TV series Salem.
Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into the extended family of a huge, large. She joined her parents, Roy and Patty as well as her four brothers: Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley's siblings, who are all sportsmen, played in the summer months and play hockey in winters. Ashley did not have the ability to walk. She danced. So when she was 2 and a 1/2, she was a part of Baby Ballet. Ashley discovered a love for dancing after she started Baby Ballet. Ashley competed in ballet, jazz and tap in high divisions. She was the top soloist in major competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more were awarded to Ashley.
