Lisa Edelstein was an American actress who is best known as the actress who starred in Fox's House medical show. Raised in Wayne with a strict Jewish tradition, she moved to New York City at the age of 18 to pursue studies in theatre at Tisch School of Arts. Soon, she was a part of the New York club scene and was soon becoming the talk of the town. Also, the press noticed her. Then, she used her experience and fame and her own training to both write and host a television show titled Positive Me. In the following year, she was hired by MTV to be the host of Awake On The Wild Side. Following the end of the series, she started appearing in films and television productions initially in smaller roles, and slowly established her acting career.
